Edison Storm and Flood Facts
- When Superstorm Sandy hit on October 29, 2012, high winds felled trees onto power lines and left 80% of Edison without power, while the storm surge traveled up the Raritan River and flooded low-lying areas of Raritan Center and a small part of the township along its border with Highland Park.
