Is Adjuster Advantage really free?
Yes. Joining is free, and membership is not a contract to hire a public adjuster. If you ever choose to hire Homeland, that is a separate written agreement.
Who is behind it?
Adjuster Advantage is offered by Homeland Public Adjusters, licensed in Florida and New Jersey.
Do I have to hire Homeland?
No. Hiring is always your decision, made only if you have a loss, and only through a separate written agreement.
What does “assigned adjuster” mean?
Your membership is connected to a licensed Homeland public adjuster. If you have a loss and decide to call, your information is already on file, which can help get things started faster.
Is this insurance?
No. It does not change your policy, coverage or premium. It helps you understand your coverage and keep your records in order.
Is Policy Scan legal or insurance advice?
No. It gives a plain-language summary of what your documents say. Your policy and your insurer decide coverage.
Who can see my documents?
You can. Homeland’s licensed staff can view your records only with the consent you give when you join, as described in the Privacy Notice.
What are Prep Alerts?
Weather alerts for your property’s area. They are an extra heads-up, not an official warning service. Always follow your local emergency management office.
Is there an app?
Yes. Adjuster Advantage is a free app for iPhone and Android, and you can also join on the web. It is the same account either way. The store apps are coming soon.
Which states are covered?
Membership is free in every state, with Coverage Talk™, Flood Lens™, Readiness Check, Resources, Prep Alerts, Storm Tracker, Damage Guide™, Photo Coach and Emergency Now™. In Florida and New Jersey, where Homeland is licensed, you also get an assigned Homeland public adjuster and every other tool, including Policy Scan™, Safety Vault™ and 90DAY XPlus™.
Can I cancel?
Yes. You can cancel anytime and ask us to delete your account. The steps will be listed in the Privacy Notice.
Are the checklist and Policy Scan advice?
No. Both are informational only. They are not legal, insurance, medical or safety advice and they do not guarantee any outcome. Policy Scan is an automated, AI-assisted summary and can contain errors, so read your full policy and ask your insurer or a licensed professional about your situation.
The app and Advantage Town
When will the iPhone and Android apps be available?
Soon. Until they launch, you can join on the web today and use the same account in the app once it is out.
What is Advantage Town?
The community inside the app, focused on preparedness and insurance. Members join porches: topic porches like hurricane prep and roofs, local porches for their county or city, association porches for their condo or HOA (coming soon), and porches they start. It is moderated, and it is not a place for claim advice on a specific loss.
Who can join Advantage Town?
Everyone, nationwide and free: homeowners, renters and people without insurance. The policy tools unlock when you upload a policy. Homeland’s public adjuster service is available only in Florida and New Jersey.
What are Town Halls?
Live, streamed Q&A sessions with Homeland’s team, in English and Spanish. Members RSVP in the app, send questions, and can watch live or catch the replay. Education only, not legal or claim advice.
Is the app in Spanish?
Yes. The app, the website and Town Halls are available in English and Spanish.
Can my condo or HOA join?
Yes. Boards, officers and community association managers can set up the association, and each owner can join for their own unit at no cost.
