General FAQs

A Public Adjuster is a licensed professional who represents you, the policyholder — not the insurance company. We document damages, handle communication with your insurer, and negotiate settlements to pursue the maximum recovery possible.

Insurance company adjusters work for the insurer. By hiring a Public Adjuster, you level the playing field — ensuring your losses are fully documented and your rights are protected.

Yes. In both Florida and New Jersey, Public Adjusters are licensed and regulated by the state. Our role is to protect and represent policyholders.

We represent property owners for damages caused by hurricanes, storms, water, fire, smoke, vandalism, theft, mold, business interruption, and more.

Yes. We often reopen claims or file supplements, depending on state rules and deadlines.

We respond as quickly as possible, typically within 24–48 hours depending on conditions and demand. Our goal is always to act quickly so your damages are documented right away.
Members of Adjuster Advantage™ also receive priority scheduling after major storms.

Homeowner FAQs

Not necessarily. You can call us first — we’ll advise you and, once formally retained, we’ll handle communication with the insurer on your behalf.

We can step in mid-claim, review what’s been done, and often recover more than what was initially offered.

Business & Commercial FAQs

Yes. We pursue not only property damage but also lost income and extra expenses caused by downtime.

Absolutely. We have experience handling complex, high-value commercial claims across multiple properties.

Yes. Our goal is to take the burden off you so you can focus on operations while we focus on recovery.

No. By law, representation requires a signed written agreement for each claim. This protects you by ensuring you always know the terms before we act on your behalf.

You can enroll directly on our website in just a few minutes. Membership is completely free.

Fees & Compliance FAQs

We only get paid if we recover funds for you. Our fee is a percentage of that recovery, and members of Adjuster Advantage™ receive a discounted rate. All fees are disclosed in writing before you sign, as required by law.

No. There are no upfront costs.

Yes. Everything you provide is kept confidential, except where documentation must be shared with your insurer to support your claim.

It’s the law — and it’s for your protection. A separate written agreement ensures you know exactly what you’re authorizing and what the fee will be before we take action on your claim.

Getting Started

Yes. We offer free consultations. Even if you’re unsure, we’ll review your situation and explain your options.

Contact us right away. We’ll inspect, document, and handle communication with your insurer so your claim gets the attention it deserves.

That’s completely normal — insurance companies always send their own adjusters first, but remember: those adjusters work for the insurance company, not for you.

Even if your claim is already open, it’s never too late to get us involved. Once you retain us, we:

  • Take over communication with your insurer
  • Re-inspect and document the full scope of damages (not just what their adjuster saw)
  • Identify missing or overlooked items
  • Begin negotiating on your behalf right away

Whether your claim is brand new, already in progress, or even denied, we can step in and fight for the recovery you deserve.

Yes. Our secure portal makes it easy to upload photos and documents directly from your phone or computer.
